is a FILLER COPY for a comic book worth anything if it is a rare?

I have a chance to pick up a very rare issue comic book but its a FILLER COPY (old Avenger comic book). Good idea or bad idea?? help ! Does this mean its not authentic?

No, it’s still authentic and worth the buy.
“Filler” just means that issue doesn’t have much to do with the main plot.
